prints & photographs
Artist contact info:
have been educated in the physical sciences, and worked as a geologist in my first career. I have transitioned to a practice in art, creating prints and photographs, and combinations of both art forms. My work often reflects esthetic colors, shapes, composition and texture from my scientific roots and love of forms found in nature. A print starts with a blank piece of paper, with layers of color and shapes built upon it. The challenge is to create a work which represents and reflects the emotion and beauty found in the natural world. I am able to uniquely simplify design concepts so that each person viewing my work sees it a bit differently, often reflecting their own preferences and experiences.
